“London homes with a garden are at a premium.” says Andrew Langton of Aylesford International. “Despite all the glorious parks and town squares available in central London, most English home buyers prefer a private garden where they can sit and have a drink or entertain on a warm evening. As such, properties with outside space usually command a higher price, particularly those that are south facing."


Edward Corry-Reid says that “properties found on garden squares are often in high demand, particularly amongst buyers of flats as, unlike houses which more often than not have their own garden, usually flats don not have more than a roof terrace or balcony if anything at all.
