Orchard Cottages are located in a quiet hamlet in the North of Kefalonia, close to the harbour town of Fiskardo. The nearest shops and restaurants are just a 10-minute walk away in the village of Antipata and Dafnoudi Beach is also a short walk via traditional gateways and goat trails.
A private driveway leads up to Lime House and outside, there are two outdoor dining areas, an outdoor seating area and a private 13m x 2.5m swimming pool. The property comfortably sleeps 6-8 people - you enter into an open-plan kitchen and living room, with white and grey flecked marble floors and a whitewashed wooden pitched ceiling. There are two double bedrooms, a mezzanine area with double bed and two bathrooms.
The property next door, Fig Cottage, can also be bought together with Lime House by separate negotiation. The properties are arranged to be private from each other with an old stone wall separating them, however there is also a gate allowing easy access to each cottage if needed. Orchard Cottages are the oldest properties in Markandonata – the ruins originally date back to the 16th Century from which the current owner, an interior designer, completely restored them.
