Some 36,000 people attended this show in 2014 and this year promises to be even bigger and better. Set against a lovely historical backdrop, it marks the start of the yachting season in the Med.
Buyers and charter clients can take a leisurely look at motor and sail yachts (in roughly 50-50 proportion) and make their plans. And, of course, enjoy a fabulous weekend in Mallorca and get ahead on some sun.

RULING THE WAVES: CLASSIC CRUISING
FOR SALE: ORION OF THE SEAS
With a salty history of adventure ingrained in every timber, Orion of the Seas was built in 1910.
Beneath billowing sails, her decks have been graced by everyone from Edwardian aristocrats and idling glitterati to fearless seadogs and fierce race competitors.
Now this pulse-quickening schooner is being offered for sale, and with it the chance to acquire a piece of yachting history. She was commissioned by the Spanish royal family; created by one of the foremost British yacht designers of his time, Charles E. Nicholson; and built by Camper & Nicholson.
Today, while her glorious mahogany interior evokes a golden age of yachting, this is nevertheless a craft equipped to fully modern standards. In 2005 a team of naval craftsmen and engineers carried out a major upgrade programme that saw her stripped back to her steel frames. This was followed in 2010 by twin Caterpillar 230hp engines, giving her a top speed of 13 knots.
She accommodates ten with a level of comfort that would delight an Edwardian grandee, and her every inch justifies her nickname: ‘The Pearl of the Mediterranean.’

Another craft that fills the eye, Goshawk is a true sailor’s yacht and her garlanded record includes numerous trophies in the US. Yet with equal ease, she slips into the role of a luxurious family cruiser, sleeping five guests.
She has just completed a refit and re-paint, and looks and feels as new.
