Stimulate your senses in exotic Marrakech
The Rose City, so called because of the pink colour of many of its buildings and the abundance of the flower itself, is a place unlike any other. Set against the dramatic snow-capped Atlas Mountains, Marrakech is a magical city of drama and spectacle.
An important trading post for many centuries, its heritage is reflected in the souk of Djemaa el Fna, where you can haggle for spices, woven carpets and trinkets – or simply wander the stalls and soak up the intoxicating atmosphere. Marrakech also boasts ancient architecture, world-class museums, historical palaces and relaxing hammams, so there's plenty to see and do.Towards the Atlas Mountains, there are stricter controls on property development, but there are some projects for an international polo field, championship golf course and exquisite villa complexes with every luxury known to man.
